About Me

Hello. My name is April. One of my greatest passions is the sport of shooting. I am so passionate about it that I love to share it with other people! So after many years of being a firearm enthusiast, I decided to do something more.

I became an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor in February of 2015. I have since added the credentials of Range Safety Officer and most recently, Refuse to Be a Victim Instructor.

Training you to defend yourself while having fun!

I give the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course, which in many states, is all that you need to get your concealed carry license. This course is a basic understanding of firearms and a little bit of everything that one should know on how to handle them.

I also give one-on-one training, in the range and out. I can teach you the basics or I can show you how to use and handle your own firearms. I can even give you suggestions on how to practice your skills at home!

Something new that I started doing is hosting seminars. This is a non-firearm program. NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim® seminar teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and how to avoid criminal confrontation.
